14 DAY TRIAL // After many months of speculations and rumors, the cause of death of pop icon Michael Jackson, who was found dead in his home in June 2009, has finally been made public. News of the World got a hold on the amended death certificate and thus learned that Michael Jackson was murdered by injection of Propofol from “another,” the tab informs.
As we also reported back in July, when the death certificate was made public to the press, the cause of death was “deferred,” pending toxicology results. According to News of the World, the same document was amended shortly after to read “homicide,” as said results revealed the King of Pop had died after being administered a heavy dose of the drug Propofol, which is administered only in hospitals by specialized personnel.
“We obtained a copy of the document and an amendment to it – that have never been published. On the original July 7 certificate deputy coroner Cheryl MacWillie refuses to give a cause of death. But after further probes, it is amended on August 31 by medical examiner Christopher Rogers to ‘homicide.’ He concludes [Jackson] died from ‘acute Propofol intoxication’ due to an ‘intra-venous injection by another’,” News of the World writes.
The same tab reveals that Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael’s personal physician, is building a strong defense should police press charges against him. He’s already contacted top-notch defense attorneys and together are working on the case, especially since he admitted to investigators having administered Propofol and other drugs to the late singer shortly before his untimely death. A Jackson family source tells News of the World they are praying for Murray’s conviction, as they hold him responsible for Michael’s death.
“We are all keeping our faith with the police. We want them to do this case properly and put away the man who we feel is responsible for Michael’s death. We want the authorities though to release details of what happened to Michael in his last few hours. We want the paperwork to come out to show just what drugs were put inside him and what happened in his last few hours alive. Much of the documentation has been kept secret – and we can’t understand it,” the unnamed source says for the aforementioned tab.
