Amidst intense speculation that the reason why Michael Jackson has pushed back the first dates of his “This Is It” tour has nothing to do with how prepared he is but rather with his frail health, the King of Pop has just been spotted leaving the office of a top dermatologist. Moreover, one of Michael’s minders was carrying a bag on which the print read “Skin Cancer,” as The Sun informs.

According to the British tabloid, Michael continues to fight the disease he’s been diagnosed with a couple of months ago. The fact that he allowed himself to be photographed with such a telling piece of evidence as the bag in question can only be a sign that he’s trying to tell fans that he’s keeping strong and doing all he can to continue with the much mediated comeback series of shows as scheduled, it is further being said.

The contents of the bag with which Michael’s minder was photographed are not known, The Sun explains. However, the print on it is visible enough – it says “Diseases of the skin, skin cancer and skin cancer chemosurgery,” which can only be seen as some form of silent confirmation that, indeed, the singer is battling a severe skin condition, the tabloid claims.

“The star has had a shave biopsy op to remove dangerous growths and to see if he needs more treatment. He has also seen experts to minimize scarring. A close source said: ‘He’s putting on a brave face but is absolutely terrified’.” The Sun writes. Should this report be accurate, it would probably be a better explanation for the thousands of fans who were left stranding when organizers AEG Live announced that the first four dates of Michael’s “This Is It” had been pushed back, some by as much as eight whole months.

Speaking of the postponed dates, as we informed you yesterday, sources reportedly placed close to the Jackson family are telling the media that Michael is far from physically able to pull through the 50-date tour. As a matter of fact, insiders were saying, he has missed most rehearsals so far, attending only two of the 45 that took place until now, whereas his dancers are working almost around the clock to make this happen as promised. This, in turn, has prompted speculation about “This Is It” not taking place at all, but any of this is yet to be confirmed.
