DA confirms Dr. Murray’s attorney will argue in court Michael Jackson killed himself
DA confirms Dr. Murray’s attorney will argue in court Michael Jackson killed himself

In August last year, Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was charged with manslaughter in the singer’s death. Word then got out that Murray’s defense would be that Michael killed himself.

This is precisely the case now, TMZ has learned. The DA has acknowledged the doctor’s defense, saying Murray wants to have his attorneys prove in court that Michael was the only responsible for his sudden death.

The argument that Murray will use in court is that Jackson was a drug addict who used the few minutes Murray was out of the room to inject himself with an overdose of Propofol, thus killing himself.

He may not have been suicidal, but Jackson is ultimately responsible for his own death because he injected himself with too much of the powerful anesthetic, Murray will try to prove.

“The prosecutor in the Conrad Murray manslaughter case just said in court what TMZ told you back in April – that Dr. Murray’s lawyers will argue Michael Jackson killed himself with a fatal dose of Propofol,” TMZ reports.

“LA County Deputy District Attorney David Walgren told the judge today, ‘I do think it’s clear the defense is operating under the theory that the victim, Michael Jackson, killed himself’,” the e-zine further writes.

This will come as a shock to those who hoped Murray would be held accountable for his recklessness and be sent to prison for murder, including Michael’s own family, who have made no secret of who they believed was guilty.

“Murray’s theory is that when he left Michael’s bedroom the day he died to go to the bathroom, Jackson awakened and in a moment of frustration infused himself with a massive dose of Propofol,” TMZ writes.

“They don’t want to say it but that’s the direction in which they are going,” Walgren says for the same media outlet. In other words, Murray’s attorney is yet to formulate this in court, but it’s widely believed he’ll do so soon.
