We’re still a long way from the day when “X-Men: Days of Future Past” is released in theaters worldwide but, happily for fans, the promo campaign for it has already started. After a series of very intense and teasing trailers, and some interviews, we have a trio of amazing actors to delight us with their funny impersonations.

Those actors would be James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman and Michael Fassbender, who took part in a Yahoo! Q&A, with questions coming from fans, and thus made possible the amazing video below.

A bit of context is necessary to understand why the clip is so funny, especially if you’re new to the X-Men universe. McAvoy plays a young version of Professor X in the rebooted X-Men franchise, which was launched with “First Class.” In the original trilogy, the role was played by Sir Patrick Stewart.

Michael Fassbender is the young Magneto, the Professor’s former friend turned worst enemy possible. That role was played by Sir Ian McKellen in the original films, who also happens to be Stewart’s best friend in real life.

Meanwhile, Jackman has played Wolverine in all X-Men movies and spinoffs. In “Days of Future Past” he doesn’t get a “younger” version because he’s the one who travels back in time in a bid to change the future.

Still, this video is less about the movie and more about three guys, who are probably friends, having a blast. Enjoy!
