14 DAY TRIAL // There is a new romance brewing in the streets of London and it has two famous protagonists. Actor Michael Fassbender, famous for his recent role in the Oscar-nominated “12 Years a Slave” is said to have the hots for legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell.
Insiders from the British tabloid The Sun have spotted the new couple together, openly hugging and kissing at the London hotspot Coya, on Tuesday. Witnesses at the scene claim that “They were in a cordoned-off area within the members' area of the restaurant to give them as much privacy as possible.”
“But they didn't mind being seen together and were openly affectionate. At one point, they even started snogging,” which is the British equivalent of kissing. The model is said to have become smitten with the actor after seeing his movie “12 Years a Slave,” and she was telling friends that she couldn't wait to go out on a date with him.
This comes as a bit of a shock, as Michael has been thought to be romantically involved with a Romanian actress by the name of Madalina Ghenea, an exotic beauty who has been previously linked with Gerard Butler. The couple were recently spotted together in Italy, looking all loved up, but things seem to have fizzled out, because Fassy has now found himself another exotic beauty.
The ebony-skinned Naomi, a judge on the talent show “The Face,” has recently made headline news with her honest reaction to the controversial Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Vogue cover. When prompted about her opinion on the matter, the model tried her best to remain impartial and professional, but she couldn't hold back a burst of hearty laughter, throwing her head back when she was asked about Kim's chances of being a model.
It seems that, in her opinion, neither Kim nor Kanye had earned the right to be featured on the cover of Vogue, widely regarded as one of the most respectable fashion magazines in the world. To the media her reaction could only mean that the fashion world was not looking favorably on Anna Wintour, chief editor for Vogue, for her decision to feature the couple on the cover.
But coming back to the new couple, it sure sends out some weird vibes. Campbell is known for being involved in relationships with rich and/or famous men, so at this point it isn't clear if there is a future for his hookup. Fassbender himself is known as quite the womanizer, being linked with many women like Nicole Beharies, Zoe Kravitz and Lupita Nyong'o.
