The eighth and final season of “Dexter” premiered on Showtime last weekend. Leading man Michael C. Hall, who brought Dexter the serial killer into our home for so many years, stopped by Kimmel the other night to talk about the final season of the show.

Check out the three videos embedded with this blog post to find out what he had to say.

Hall revealed that they were midway to wrapping up the final episode of the season (sadface) but, as expected, would not offer any juicy details about the big finale.

He also spoke of how the show “faked Miami” on a regular basis by shooting in Long Beach, and explained why he still had the “C.” in his name.

Even if Hall doesn’t say much about the show per se, if you’re a fan of this brilliant actor (and “Dexter” too), you just have to see the full interview.
