With all the new gaming peripherals coming out, it was just a matter of time before Zowie made its own contribution, this once going for the realm of mice by putting together one for gamers with smaller hards than usual.

While there are definitely a whole myriad of mice on today's market, there are always companies that make and release newer and better ones.

This is, among other things, owed to the tendency of end-users to favor the new, since one can't really say that so-called advancements in mouse technologies are as relevant as those in CPUs, graphics cards or whatnot.

That said, peripheral makers are always looking for new design elements and convenient perks they can throw in, preferably at little to no price premium.

Zowie is one of the latest companies to deliver such a product, dubbed MiCO and Co-developed with professional StarCraft & StarCraft 2 players from Korea.

It is a lightweight device that has an USB (Universal Serial Bus) report rate of 500 Hz and a DPI laser that can be adjustable to 400/800/1600.

Also, it features an ambidextrous design, and a maximum acceleration of up to 30G, plus a maximum speed of up to 50 inches per second.

Zowie says it spent a lot of time figuring out the most appropriate shape to go with the claw-like grip, as well as on optimizing the responsiveness to easy clicking/light pressure.

Tactile feedback was also taken into account and the outfit even used a custom lens that work on all surfaces and has a 2mm lift-off distance.

The first of June is when prospective customers will actually be able to get a hold of this particular peripheral, for the price of $34.90 in the US and just as many Euro in Europe.
