The Taco Cid Mexican food Restaurant in West Columbia, South Carolina prides itself with good food and a better sense of humor.

Company shirts have a design on their back, in which a risqué joke about the Mexican people is illustrated.

“How to catch an illegal immigrant,” it reads.

Taco Cid have caused a lot of commotion with its controversial marketing tagline, having some dub it racist.

“Our t-shirts were created as a witty and comical statement regarding ILLEGAL immigrants. There are NO racial nor hate remarks towards any specific ethnic group,” they respond on their website.

According to Fox News Latino, The Mexican community in the area is not seeing the joke in this one bit. They have decided to boycott the eatery.

“We would recommend people not patronize this place. Sure, because of this insult but really due to the fact that a restaurant this clueless about the Latino community can't possibly make a decent taco,” National Council of La Raza Advisor to the President, Lisa Navarrete, says.
