A new version of the popular Metrotube app for Windows 8 has landed in the Store today, coming with several bug fixes supposed to improve the overall performance of the Metro YouTube client.
The new build packs improvements to the snapped experience, as well as new “back stack” navigation and universal home buttons. Users are now allowed to login and logout from anywhere in the app, while the custom semantic zoom also works in portrait mode.
In addition, Metrotube now benefits from improved error handling and error messages, but it also includes several bug fixes and UI tweaks to provide a better YouTube browsing experience.
Of course, the app continues to be free, offering compatibility with every single Windows 8 version on the market, including the tablet-oriented Windows RT.
