Metro: Last Light, a brand new first-person shooter set in the post-apocalyptic underworld of the Moscow metro, is now available for Mac through Steam Play.

An impressive-looking, story-driven shooter, Metro: Last Light is the sequel to 2010’s Metro 2033. The developers promise you’ll “Fight for every bullet and every last breath in a claustrophobic blend of survival horror and FPS gameplay.”

To do so, you’ll need a minimum configuration of: OS X 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion); 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i5; 8 GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB; and 10 GB available space.

The recommended specs include a higher clocked CPU (3.2 GHz quad core Intel Core i5), as much RAM as your Mac can carry, and a 1GB graphics card, preferably the NVidia Geforce GTX 680MX.

Oh, and the game will set you back €49.99 / $49.99. In case you feel like I should mention prices before anything else in the future, write a formal complaint in the comments section below.
