After showing off a brand new gameplay trailer and quite a few new details about the upcoming Metro: Last Light game, THQ has now revealed a very special Metro: Last Light Limited Edition, which includes not just the game but also a few bonuses like a modified rifle, several military grade bullets, and a Ranger Mode difficulty setting.

Metro 2033 impressed quite a few gamers even if it was far from perfect.

With Metro: Last Light, developer 4A Games and publisher THQ want to deliver a thoroughly impressive experience with a top-notch single-player campaign.

We already heard about the mechanics of the new title and now the two companies have just posted the first details about the Metro: Last Light Limited Edition, which includes the game plus a few special bonuses, including a modified assault rifle, the best bullets in the game, and the special Ranger difficulty mode.

"The Limited Edition will include a standard retail copy of the game along with a bundle of content suited for underground survival: Ranger Mode, Military Grade Bullets and the AKS-74U Modified Russian Rifle," the companies said on the Metro: Last Light website.

"Ranger Mode is the fan-favorite game type from Metro 2033 that represents the ultimate, immersive Metro experience. Also included are bonus military grade bullets to spend on weapon upgrades, equipment, or just killing enemies. Last but not least is the deadly AKS-74U modified Russian rifle."

The Metro: Last Light Limited Edition will be available across all of the game's many platforms, namely the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Those who pre-order this version of the game on the PlayStation Network, however, will get a special bonus in the form of a free copy of popular first-person shooter Homefront, which will be given when Last Light is released. They'll also instantly receive a special PSN theme based on the upcoming title.
