THQ and 4A Games have posted a brand new video of Metro: Last Light, this time showing off an extended look at the gameplay demo that was shown at E3 2012 last month.

Metro: Last Light is set to drastically improve upon its predecessor by enhancing the gameplay, tweaking the plot and delivering an even more impressive visual experience.

We already admired a haunting live action trailer last month, showing the scenes before the nuclear bombs hit Moscow, and now a fresh gameplay video has appeared, presenting the Metro: Last Light demo from E3 2012.

In it, the protagonist, Artyom, is forced to ally himself with a “young Red Line officer named Pavel as they attempt to cross the hostile surface of post-apocalyptic Moscow in a bid to reach the relative safety of the legendary station city, The Theatre.”

Metro: Last Light is set to appear sometime in 2013. Until then, check out the impressive gameplay video above.
