Metro: Last Light, the first-person shooter from developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver, has managed to climb to the top of the United Kingdom video game chart during its first week on sale, dethroning another title from the same company.

For the week ending on May 18, data from UKIE shows that Dead Island: Riptide slid down to second position.

The last place on the podium is occupied by FIFA 13, the EA Sports title that continues to be popular despite the imminent end of the football regular season.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Infinity, from Nintendo, is another new entry that performed well and managed to get in fourth place, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The rest of the top ten is made up of:

Tomb Raider The Walking Dead Injustice: Gods Among Us Assassin’s Creed III BioShock Infinite
