Metalocalypse Bass

You don't have to be a metalhead to know at least some small things about Metalocalypse: the animated series depicting the wacko adventures of a metal band wrecking havoc through life. The series is full of music,
especially metal (METALocalypse, right?) and the soundtrack as well as the in-series songs kick ass big time.

Well, it's time I told you that Brendon Small, the guy behind Metalocalypse and the one-man-band behind all the series' music acts has spoken about his appreciation for the Line6 equipment, namely POD effects; needless to say it's POD being used in the tracks you hear - not only POD but it's there.

Having such a man praising the POD gear, Line6 sat and thought "why not POD-ding some bass as well, after all, music has bass, you know..." This is how a new close-to-perfection tool for the bass players out there has been born, the Bass POD.

Even more, apart from the studio versions, today is the day of the Bass Floor POD: all the power of the POD bass series in a compact space, right at your feet, harnessing all the engineering energies of Line6 experience in a small yet awe-inspiring, powerful package.

The Line6 Bass Floor POD brings clean and 5 additional bass-styles ( R&B, rock, brit, grind and synth) and comes loaded with envelope filter, octaver and chorus, all knob-adjustable. The Bass POD also has a built-in compressor, onboard tuner, CD/MP3 input, a wah/volume control pedal, in one word almost everything a bass player needs in order to create a magnificent sound. Even more, the Bass Floor POD sports sounds inspired from Line6' LOWDOWN bass amps' decisive acoustic behavior so it starts more and more to look like a very serious breed of bass FX.

Shipping now for just under $300, the Line6 Bass Floor POD will soon reach your corner of the world. Tune up your grow-axe, it's coming!
