Two separate reports from Sony and Konami apparently confirm that the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Zeroes title will be released onto the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms when it eventually comes out next year.

The Metal Gear Solid series is celebrating its 25th anniversary and, in order to properly mark this special moment, developer Konami and the designer of the franchise, Hideo Kojima, confirmed a brand new game, in the form of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.

We’ve already got to admire a stunning video with the new game, which showed off the impressive graphics rendered by Konami’s new Fox engine.

Now, a Sony representative has confirmed that Ground Zeroes will no longer be exclusive to the PlayStation 3, unlike the previous MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots, as it will appear on other platforms.

What’s more, reports from the PAX expo, which was held over the weekend, say that Kojima practically confirmed to attendants that MGS: Ground Zeroes would appear on the PlayStation 3, as well as on the PC and Xbox 360.

As of yet, Konami hasn’t officially revealed what platforms will see the release of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
