Konami has just revealed a special statement in regards to recent speculation about the length of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, emphasizing that the game has a high replay value and quite a few secondary activities that will prolong its playthrough.

Quite a lot of fans who were looking forward to Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes were surprised to hear yesterday that the game's single mission can be completed in just 2 hours.

While Konami mentioned before that the game would feature secondary ops and even bonus missions depending on platform, like Déjà vu and Jamais Vu, there was a lot of new concern sparked.

Now, Konami has posted a statement on Facebook emphasizing that Ground Zeroes has quite a lot of quality content that can experienced multiple times.

"Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes features a non-linear, open world environment that allows players to choose how to approach each mission. Players can use a variety of tactics, from a run and gun action style to true stealth-ops, to accomplish any one single mission, true to the Metal Gear Solid series," the company said.

"With freedom to choose multiple paths, by foot or by vehicle, to dynamic enemy engagement, players are sure to find a deep gameplay experience across a central story mode as well as numerous side-ops missions."

The publisher also emphasized that there were plenty of other activities in the game with the same degree of quality expected from a Metal Gear Solid game.

"Also, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes offers a number of additional achievements and unlockable platform-exclusive content for considerable replay value in the true cinematic style and ground-breaking graphics quality that has become the hallmark of Kojima Productions."

Last but not least, the Japanese publisher also reminded players that Ground Zeroes is just a prologue to the full-fledged The Phantom Pain, filling in the gaps between Peacewalker and the next release in the series.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will come out on March 18, in North America, and March 20, in Europe, for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.< />
