Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the stealth action game released exclusively
for the PlayStation 3 console has been recently launched (on the 12th of June 2008) and it is already considered one of the biggest hits of the year. Having in mind that it is the last Hideo Kojima game in the Metal Gear franchise (or so he says), you can imagine that it is a masterpiece.
Even though Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has received a lot of positive reviews from the press, the game was highly criticized especially for the length of cutscenes: there were even rumors (denied afterwards) that we can get 90 minutes long cutscenes! All in all, this Konami game brings a lot of gameplay and excitement to its fans and it is probably the best PS3 exclusive Sony has at the moment.
We know that true gamers play all these games just for fun, as they should and not in order to achieve specific point landmarks to prove their friends they are very cool, but we also know that sometimes you just can't live without achieving everything possible with a title you really enjoy. Unlockable Emblems
Assassin's Emblem Beat the game with 50+ knife kills, 50+ CQC holds, and 25 or less alerts.
Big Boss Emblem Beat the game on the highest difficulty with no deaths, no alerts, no kills, no recovery items, no stealth suit, no bandanna items, in under 5 hours.
Fox Hound Emblem Beat the game on hard or higher w/ no deaths, 3 or less alerts, no kills, no recovery items, no stealth suit, no bandanna items, in under 5.5 hours.
Fox Emblem Beat the game on normal or higher w/ no deaths, 5 or less alerts, no kills, no recovery items, no stealth suit, no bandanna items, in under 6 hours.
Hound Emblem Beat the game on hard or higher w/ no deaths, 3 or less alerts, no kills, no recovery items, no stealth suit, no bandanna items, in under 6.5 hours.
Rabbit Emblem Look at 100 Playboy pages
Little Gray Emblem Collect all 69 weapons
Lobster Emblem Spend a total of 2.5 hours crouching
Hyena Emblem Pick up 400 dropped weapons
Inch Worm Emblem Crawl on the ground for a total of 1 hour
Hog Emblem Get 10 combat highs
Hawk Emblem Be admired by 25 friendly soldiers
Gibbon Emblem Hold up 50 enemies
Giant Panda Emblem Complete the game after 30 cumulative hours of play
Eagle Emblem Get 150 headshots
Frog Emblem Dive or roll 200 times
Gecko Emblem Press against walls for a total of 1 hour
