Sony has just confirmed that the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance hack-and-slash game will feature a very special bonus on the PlayStation 3, in the form of 30 extra virtual reality missions that include all sorts of challenges and even let players take control of the infamous Dwarf Gekko.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance puts players in the shoes of cyborg ninja Raiden as he goes through all sorts of adventures around the world.

We already got to try out the game thanks to a special demo and now, in order to tip the odds in favor of the PS3 edition of Revengeance, Sony has confirmed, via PS blog, that this version of the game will receive 30 exclusive virtual reality missions for free.

The new adventures are modeled after classic experiences like Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and will put players in all sorts of tricky situations. What's more, they'll also get to control the infamous Dwarf Gekko character in some of the missions.
