Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the recently released hack-and-slash title from Platinum Games and Konami, has just received the special VR Missions DLC on the PS3 and will soon be on the receiving end of two more add-ons called Jetstream and Blade Wolf, which will appear on PS3 and on Xbox 360.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance told a brand new story in the universe created by Hideo Kojima and allowed players to take control of Raiden, a cyborg ninja equipped with a very powerful High Frequency Blade that can cut through almost everything.

After completing the relatively short campaign, fans can now look forward to quite a bit of DLC.

Konami has confirmed that the PS3-exclusive Virtual Reality Missions pack is now available as a free download for a limited time.

"The DLC adds 30 all-new missions to the game, featuring the classic VR look inspired by the original Metal Gear Solid VR Missions. The pack is pure, uncut gameplay that introduces a host of unique new challenges that will push Raiden's skills to its limits," Konami said, via AGB.

What's more, two other DLC packs will be released for Revengeance starting this April, focusing on one of the villains, Sam, and the mysterious Blade Wolf character.

"The first DLC pack, Jetstream, will be a side story featuring Sam as a playable character. The second pack, Blade Wolf, will allow players to control the enigmatic Blade Wolf and will showcase his side story. Both DLC packs will feature multiple hours of gameplay including unique abilities and characteristics for each character, while also expanding on each of their storylines and origins."

While the VR Missions DLC is free on the PS3 console, the Jetstream and Blade Wolf DLC packs are going to cost $6.99/€6.99/560 MS Points.
