Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the upcoming hack-and-slash game from Konami and Grasshopper Manufacture, has just received its box art for North American and European territories, showing off the protagonist, Raiden, as he slices through an impressive foe.

Metal Gear Solid games have focused on stealth and the impressive skills of Solid Snake. In Revengeance, however, we're treated with the story of Raiden, a cyborg ninja who wields an impressive sword and has even more impressive skills when it comes to using it on enemies.

We already got to admire some of his powers in previous videos and screenshots for Revengeance, but now the game's actual cover artwork has been revealed, via AGB, by Konami for North American and European regions.

As you can see above and in the gallery below, the box art emphasizes just how powerful and deadly Raiden can be, not to mention his impressive sword that's capable of slicing through almost everything.

Check out the box art and look forward to the release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on February 19, in North America, and February 22, in Europe, for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
