Phantom Pain might not officially be a Metal Gear Solid video game, but the team working on it is releasing a new video for the title, designed to offer fans of the series more clues to its nature while also introducing some interesting details about its setting.

The video also includes a code that fans have since then cracked, which reads, "GENERATING IMAGE HOLD SCENARIO LOADING HOLD ACTIVATE PHANTOM PAIN DOT MEME HOLD ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR"

Joakim Mogren, the main developer working on Phantom Pain, widely believed to be a proxy for Hideo Kojima, seems to suggest that the game is a way for characters in Metal Gear Solid to deal with post-traumatic stress disorder.

It's unclear whether the game is linked in any way to the already announced Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
