Messenger Plus Live for Windows Vista is scheduled for availability by the end of February 2007. Messenger Plus Live is designed as an add-on for Microsoft's instant messaging client, delivering
an array of additional features. Messenger Plus Live offers tabbed chat, quick texts, custom sounds, event viewer, multiple messenger sessions etc.

As Windows Vista is now generally available, the developer of Messenger Plus Live has revealed that a version is in the works designed to integrate seamlessly with the operating system. "Windows Vista is now officially out which means that there is no more reason for not making sure Messenger Plus! Live runs perfectly with this new operating system. Rest assured though, the necessary steps were already taken last year to make sure Messenger Plus! would run smoothly in Vista when it comes out," reads a message posted on the Messenger Plus Live website.

The upcoming version of Messenger Plus Live will be build 4.20. Users of Windows Live Messenger under Windows Vista will be able to enjoy all the functionality Messenger Plus Live delivered on Windows XP. According to the developer, the release of build 4.20 was postponed in concordance with the final version of the operating system.

The current version of Messenger Plus Live runs under Windows Vista, but users have complained about a suite of issues that will be fixed with version 4.20.

Messenger Plus! Live 4.11.254 was tested by Softpedia as being 100% Free and is available for download here.
