One of the most popular Instant Messaging clients on the market, Beejive has landed on the Android platform. Beejive is an all-in-one messaging client with a friendly user interface, that enables users to stay connected with all their friends regardless of the messaging service used.

Further, the IM supports a a wide range of well-known messaging and chat service, such as: AIM, iChat, MobileMe, MSN, Windows Live, Yahoo!, Facebook, MySpace, GoogleTalk, ICQ, and Jabber.

The application enables users to stay connected to all of their instant messaging buddies on all of their IM accounts, anywhere they go.

BeejiveIM also automatically reconnects in case of data service interruption, including phone calls and loss of cell coverage.

The IM uses an existing data plan, and doesn't charges for SMS messages. Further, BeejiveIM lets users check who is available at a certain moment, so you won’t need to text or waste time waiting for a response from someone who isn’t online.

The application also enables users to transfer photos and videos directly within the body of their IM, bringing both high photo quality and great ease of use.

Users will also be able to easily manage their buddy list, including adding and/or removing nicknames, groups and blocking.

You will be able to set custom status messages, be invisible, or set an auto away status and change your privacy settings.

BeejiveIM adds voice via a smooth, direct transfer. This is also great for IMing while on the go.

The application also takes advantage of Google's Cloud to Device Messaging Framework, currently in beta under Google Labs.

In terms of security the application includes full 128-bit encryption of all over-the-air data transmissions.

Also all account information, such as usernames and passwords, are stored locally on your Android smartphone and not kept on the developer's servers.

BeejiveIM is already available through the Android Market and can be downloaded for $9.99 USD. A 30-day trial is also available that lets users test the app's features before they actually buy it.
