Mesa, an open source implementation of the OpenGL specification and a system for rendering interactive 3D graphics, is now at version 10.2.6.

Mesa 10.2.6 is the next iteration in the series and implements the OpenGL 3.3 API. This means that some drivers might not support the specifications for the latest Mesa. This is the development branch, which means that it will be a while until it hits the repositories. It's also worth noting that this is bug release for Mesa 10.2.5.

According to the changelog, an error condition for valid texture targets in glTexStorage* functions has been fixed, an utility function _mesa_is_enum_format_snorm has been added, the GL_TEXTURE_CUBE_MAP target with compressed internal formats is now allowed, and the datatype computation in get_temp_image_type has been fixed.

Also, llvm is no longer required on 32-bit platforms, the blit-based partial TexSubImage for 1D arrays has been fixed, the buffer validation after the CS flush has been fixed, and a hang with instancing in Unigine Heaven/Valley on Hawaii has been corrected.

More details about this release can be found in the official announcement. You can download the Mesa 10.2.6 sources right now from Softpedia. There is no binary file available, so it’s better to get the update from the official repositories.
