Device manufacturer Kobian is trying to revitalize the 7-inch tablet market in India with a new offering, the Mercury mTAB streaQ Duo.

It appears that devices sporting dual-SIM capabilities are becoming quite popular in the country, and the Kobian slate is no different.

Let’s see what else the company is offering here. Fonearena reports the 7-incher features a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and draws power from a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8577 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

There are two cameras on board, a 2.3-megapixel rear one and a 0.3 (VGA) front snapper. 8GB of internal memory are available on board, with the possibility of increasing it to 32GB. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G (via SIM card slot) functionalities are provided as well.

The mTAB streaQ Duo will soon be spotted into the wild, with pricing to be announced at a later date.
