The folks over at iLegendsoft have just released an important update for their Mercury Browser application for Android devices. According to the official changelog, the update contains lots of improvements and bug fixes.

First and foremost, users will now be able to sync bookmarks with Mercury Connect. In addition, there’s a new option that allows users to classify downloaded files into Doc, Image, Music and Video.

The update also adds support for more file formats with File Viewer in File Manager and more gestures, which can be chosen by going to Action Panel / Settings / Gesture. Users can also put up short URLs in Mercury Share.

Last but not least, several bug fixes have been included as well, but not additional details have been provided on any of these.

You can now download Mercury Browser for Android 1.3 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the browser should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.
