The 2012 Detroit Auto Show is the place where awesome design will meet green technologies

Mercedes-Benz has recently announced it is going to bring two new hybrids to the worldwide famous auto event organized in January.

One of them is the gasoline-electric 2013 Mercedes-Benz E400 and the other one is the diesel-electric Mercedes-Benz E300 Bluetec Hybrid.

Both new cars display a 7G-Tronic transmission and come equipped with 0.8-kWh lithium-ion batteries according to Autobloggreen.

It seems that the E300 Bluetec Hybrid, announced earlier this year, in May, is much more efficient than the other model expected from the company, the E400 Hybrid.

Unfortunately, rumor has it that only E400 could be spotted in American showrooms in the near future. Manufacturers reveal that diesel-electric E300 Bluetec Hybrid is aiming to green up the European market.
