For the past month or so I have posted various articles about actress Eva Mendes, some with her giving interviews and talking about her latest movie with Nicholas Cage, 'Ghost Rider' and others with her appearing in magazines. As a matter of fact, the last post was about Eva in 'Citizen K' magazine, where the Latino actress was portrayed in a totally different way than in the rest of the magazines. Although that photo shoot was not half bad, it pales in comparison with the one for the next issue of 'GQ'. If I'll tell you that 'GQ' usually goes for sexy women, photographed in surprising settings while looking amazingly hot, you will get what I'm driving at in a second. This is exactly the case with Eva: the photo shoot was all about the rural setting and about Eva blending perfectly in it. Of course, if we had enough patience to actually look at the setting, when there is such a beautiful distraction that attracts our eye, we would probably notice that the photographer got what he wanted to in the first place: for a second, he made us believe that such hotties like Eva could live in the countryside. Some have already started to bad-mouth the actress for taking her clothes off more and more, now that there's a movie to promote. Far be such a thought from us! If this session for 'GQ' was meant as a publicity stunt for 'Ghost Rider', then I hope she may live to make a thousand movies from this day on. If she did it just because she wanted to and because she thought it would be an interesting idea, then I say she should do it more often. For a second, let us cast all hypocrisy aside and admit to the fact that a woman can pose semi-naked and be appreciated for that: no more 'yes, she has a nice body but her acting sucks', no more 'pretty face, zero talent'. How can anyone think of anything else when Eva's splendid ass is staring right at them? OK, to conclude: she is a fairly decent actress who's popular mostly because of her curves, but don't let that spoil the pleasure of the photos below.
