Or so it would seem. Anyway, the American Beauty actress manages to do what she does best, that is look incredibly hot and sexy in a series of topless photos she took for the Italian edition of Vanity Fair. And it's not only the concept of the spread that's eye-catching and...well, pretty damn sexy, it's also the fact that this lady manages to radiate an incredible amount of sexual energy while working a look that combines knee-high, kinky boots and an attitude to match, that turn this photo shoot into one of the actress' sexiest to date.

You'd think posing topless, wearing jeans and a fur cap would be a killer look...in the worst possible sense of the world that is. Just imagine Britney did that. OK, bad example. Let's think...Victoria Beckham. Or Sienna Miller. Would that work for them? I'd dare to say no, it wouldn't - particularly because it's not so much the image as the attitude. And the Estonian/Greek actress is one of those strong characters that you either love or hate - and there's no turning back from the original impression they leave upon you.

Suvari gave up her long hair and shocked the world by sporting a Britney-style bald head in June this year. But rest assured, she did it with a clear purpose and not while being intoxicated with any illegal substance. In fact, she says she fulfilled a long-standing ambition by losing her hair. "I was really excited to get to shave my head - it's something I'd wanted to do for a while and now I had a good excuse. It was nice to shed that level of vanity for a girl" she stated, and the excuse in question is a movie adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's Garden of Eden which she was shooting at the time in Spain.
Either way you choose to take it, Mena Suvari is a colorful character, not to say sexy and full of attitude. And yes, this time the Vanity Fair people really stroke a classy note with her spread, while at the same time stubbornly not revealing even one tiny insignificant nipple. Bad, bad people. What can I say - let's enjoy and be thankful for what we have. At least for now.
