The vulnerability allows an attacker to take over an affected system

Adobe released Flash Player 11.2 not only to provide customers with some new features for gaming, but also to address a couple of critical memory corruption vulnerabilities that affected the earlier versions of the product.

The update addresses a memory corruption flaw related to URL security domain checking and one in the NetStream class.

If exploited, both issues could allow an attacker to execute malicious code and even take control of the vulnerable system.

Customers who use Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.63 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh and Linux are advised to immediately update to the latest variant to ensure that their devices are protected against the operations launched by cybercriminals.
