With only one month left until the theatrical release of the comedy “Tammy,” the producers of the movie have released a new trailer for the international character. As you'd expect, McCarthy's character finds herself in yet another hilarious scrape, this time involving some wildlife.

The incident explains just how Tammy, McCarthy's character, loses her job, a fact which triggers a series of events that lead to the trip of a lifetime across the country. Tammy is busy singing “I Don't Want to Lose Your Love Tonight” by The Police when she accidentally hits a deer.

She tries to revive it, which causes her to be late for work and, as a result, she promptly gets fired. She then somehow decides to take a road trip with her alcoholic grandmother, played by Susan Sarandon, to the Niagara Falls. Several other funny scenes are presented in the trailer.

Previous trailers showed a funny stick-up scene in which Tammy robbed a fast food store with a paper bag over her head and holding a banana as a gun. She makes a legendary entrance while singing the chorus to Coolio's “Gangster's Paradise.”

“Tammy” will be released in theaters on July 2, two days before the Fourth of July, seeking to profit from the national holiday.
