The development team behind Meld, an open source graphical merge and diff application for the GNOME desktop environment, has announced a few days ago that version 1.8.3 is now available for download with four fixes and three updated translations.

Meld 1.8.3 is here to repair subdirectory comparisons issues for Subversion 1.6 or later, fixes Git status parsing for various statuses, and fixes modifying column properties issues that caused some crashes when using .ini config backend.

Moreover, updating is no longer disabled when syncpoints are not active at that moment. Also, the Indonesian, Italian, and Chinese Traditional translations have been updated in Meld 1.8.3. For more details about this release, please take a look at the official raw changelog.
