Melanie Griffith Casts Husband Antonio Banderas In TWINS The famous actress has managed to get her husband Antonio Banderas to appear in her new US sitcom TWINS.	By Entertainment News Staff, - 27th of August 2005, 15:07 GMT Adjust text size:

The 48-year-old actress, who plays a former lingerie model-turned-mum in the upcoming comedy show, has expressed her intention to work with her husband and then she set about persuading him to agree to the part. "I didn't get a recurring deal, but I got one show where Antonio Banderas shows up. I made that one deal", she said. Griffith mentioned that Banderas won't accept to do anything silly. "I know he won't show up in lingerie", she added. Melanie Griffith, who was married to Don Johnson and Steven Bauer, fell in love with her "Two Much" co-star. Both she and Antonio created a scandal in 1995 with their torrid affair, and the tabloids followed their every move, including their divorces from Don Johnson and Antonio's wife Ana Leza. The mother-of-three appears in the TV series "Twins" and "Heartless", and will star in "Have Mercy", a movie directed by Kathy Bates.
