'The National Enquirer' is set to go straight for the neck of the actor/director who, a while ago, scandalized the entire world with his anti-Semite comments. Therefore, the tabloid sent some of its best reporters to dig out more information about the rehabilitation clinic where Mel Gibson is admitted for his alcohol abuse.
But they only found out that, in fact, Gibson is not following an in-treatment program as he led the world to understand in his two public apologies, but is resting peacefully at home, far from the madding crowd and from the even more annoying reporters.
Refusing to attend a rehabilitation program, just like others do, Mel is trying to solve his problems via outpatient therapy, a fact that raises serious doubts about his seriousness in seeking help. Contacted by the tabloid, Gibson's publicist said that her client is included in an 'ongoing program of recovery. That's it'. And nothing more.
Angry voices from the press are already being heard because, considering the rampage the drunken actor went on while being arrested for DUI, it is obvious that he is not yet willing to submit himself to an intensive treatment for what is clearly a major problem.
