Actor and director Mel Gibson has bought himself a $24 million Malibu house, this one being his second residence in California.
According to Los Angeles Time, the mansion, built in 1981, is described as a Mediterranean-style home, comprising 7000-square-feet.
The house has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a master bedroom suite with his-and-her sitting rooms, a gym, a library, an office, an elevator, a lagoon pool and a cabana. It also features a gourmet kitchen, a bar and a wine cellar.
Gibson, who married Robyn Moore on June 7, 1980 and with whom he has seven children: daughter, Hannah (born 1980); twin sons, Edward and Christian (born 1982); son, Willie (born 1985); son, Louis (born 1988); son, Milo (born 1990); son, Tommy (born 1999), still has a second four-bedroom, beachfront house in Malibu. This house was bought in April 2000, for about $3.5 million.
Mel Gibson, born January 3, 1956, is an American-born Australian-reared actor, director and producer, best known for acting in the "Mad Max" movie series, the "Lethal Weapon" series, acting in and directing the Academy Award winning "Braveheart" and directing the 2004 blockbuster "The Passion of the Christ".
