They will probably go on sale a few weeks later

Meizu is expected to refresh its high-end lineups of Android smartphones this year. The latest rumors claim that June will be a very busy month for the Chinese company, with two smartphones to be unveiled.

According to GizmoChina, Meizu is likely to announce the sequel to the M1 Note during a dedicated event on June 2. The M1 Note 2 will probably be launched a few weeks later, but more details on that are expected to be announced at the conference.

But the M1 Note 2 won't be the only Meizu smartphone to be officially revealed next month. The Chinese media reports Meizu will introduce its MX5 flagship smartphone on June 30 during another launch event.

Little is known about pricing options and availability of these smartphones, but we hope to get more info as we're getting closer to launch.

On the other hand, rumors about MX5's specs point to a unibody design and a powerful 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6797 processor inside.

Both come with fingerprint sensor housed in the Home button

Since it features unibody design, Meizu MX5 will be powered by a non-removable battery. There's no mention of microSD card slot, but since the previous MX4 model lacked one, we doubt Meizu will add it to MX5.

Meizu MX5 is also said to pack a physical Home button that will also act as a fingerprint scanner. These are all the details that we got until now about Meizu's next flagship smartphone, but we're confident the full specs sheet will leak ahead of the official announcement.

Moving on to the other high-end Meizu smartphone to be unveiled in June, the M1 Note 2 will feature a similar Home button with a fingerprint sensor underneath.

That's all we know about Meizu M1 Note 2 for the moment, but we suspect the phablet will sport a large display (at least 5.5-inch) and 3GB of RAM.

We also expect that both Meizu high-end smartphones to be powered by Flyme OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
