Good news for Meizu fans, as the upcoming M2 Note is just a few days away. Well, the announcement at least because it's unclear when exactly the smartphone will go on sale.

Until then though, you'll be pleased to know that the full specs of the M2 Note have just been leaked online via GFXBench database.

Even though the page showing the phone's specs sheet has been removed, the folks over at techgadgetsz still got them and have been kind to share the info with the world.

So, the sequel to the popular Meizu M1 Note will come with an average 4.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. This is a rather weird size for a device that calls itself “Note.”

We believe there might be a mistake here either from the source (typo) or perhaps the prototype tested did not report the correct values in benchmark, which happens pretty frequently.

Furthermore, the smartphone is equipped with a powerful 64-bit octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor, which according to the listing is clocked at 1.3GHz. This seems rather low for a next-generation chipset that's been launched on the market only two months ago.

The octa-core processor is complemented by a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The handset is also said to pack microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

On the back, Meizu M2 Note should feature a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front there should be a 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

The smartphone will offer dual-SIM support, along with many other connectivity options, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS.

Last but not least, Meizu M2 Note will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system onboard, along with the latest version of Flyme UI on top.

It remains to be seen when exactly Meizu will make the M2 Note available on the market and for how much, so stay tuned for more details on the matter.
