Rumors say the “Transformers” star is a favorite

Although the two “Hulk” movies made in recent years have failed to rise to the expectations of both fans and critics, a third one is also coming our way, rumor has it. Apparently, Nicolas Cage is working on “She-Hulk,” the female version of the green monster who also happens to be related to him, and Megan Fox is in the run for the lead part, as FadedYouth informs.

The entire blogosphere is abuzz with the rumor of having Fox in underpants, going on a rampage and causing damage. However, one might as well add, the exact source of the rumor is not yet known, and no confirmation of this has yet been made. If the report does turn out to be true, then fans of the actress, as well as those of superhero movies, will be in for a treat, especially since the film is poised to be one filled with adrenaline-pumping scenes.

“Megan in is discussions to play Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who dramatically transforms into a powerful monster when she is angry. A source tells Xpress4Me: ‘The idea is to make She-Hulk even more savage than the Hulk, which is why Megan is the big favorite for the lead. She’ll be green of course and will have to hang on to a few more pieces of clothes than the male version when she transforms!’” the aforementioned source says, citing presumably reliable sources.

However, Cage has also set his eyes on another silver screen beauty for the part and, given that he is the one who is making this film happen, his word could weight heavy in the balance, it has been noted. Cage is partial to Eva Mendes for the part, sources claim, and he will do everything in his power to have her on board, even if she’s not that open to the idea of doing superhero movies (as opposed to Fox, of course, who already has some experience with the “Transformers” franchise).

“I’m working on ‘She-Hulk’ and I’d like to see Eva [Mendes] play her. It would be her in a bikini just kicking a lot of [expletive], throwing cars. I’m trying to put that together as we speak.” Cage is quoted as saying. No other details are available at this point, but keep an eye on this space for more.
