Megan Fox has been keeping a very low profile lately, especially after the “Transformers” debacle that saw her get fired from the franchise because she badmouthed everybody, including director Michael Bay. Below is a segment from her appearance on Jay Leno the other night.

As fans must know, Megan gave birth three months ago and somehow managed to keep the pregnancy a secret until the last moment.

Sitting down with Leno to promote “This Is 40,” in which she plays a supporting role, Megan explains that the first trimester of pregnancy was so bad she actually thought she was carrying a vampire baby. Or, you know, an alien.

“I was very nauseous. I had really bad morning sickness. It was so bad for me... I was convinced that I was, like, maybe birthing a vampire baby like the one in Twilight – you know what happens to Bella, where she's in cold sweats all the time – and I felt like that was happening because I had no vitamins and nutrients and I was just nauseous. Something not human was happening!,” the star says.

All in good fun, of course.
