14 DAY TRIAL // Whenever she promotes a new movie, Megan Fox is bound to land the cover of Cosmopolitan and the spread inside the mag is always a sight for sore eyes. This time is no different: the star has a new movie, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” coming out, and as such, she’s pushing it with some help from Cosmo.
The spread is just what the doctor ordered too: colorful and summery, it has Megan showing off her incredible post-pregnancy figure in an array of outfits, including a two-piece number that really makes it clear that, even though she gave birth in mid-February, fitness and health have been very important to her.
In the interview, Megan reveals her secret girl crush: TV host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, on whose show she has made quite a few appearances throughout the years. Megan finds humor absolutely irresistible (who doesn’t?) but she says that another thing that attracts her to Ellen is the fact that she seems to be anti-Hollywood / “anti-business” when she’s playing the game like a pro.
On this note, Megan, once dubbed the hottest woman ever to walk the face of earth by the fans, says that she’s learned that women can take some time off from trying to always look their best. Looks aren’t everything in life, the mom of 2 explains.
“Women don’t have to be desperate and try so hard. Allow yourself to be strong and powerful and men will be crawling on their hands and knees,” Megan suggests.
“You have to be with someone who loves you at your absolute worst, because you can’t be an actress every moment of the day forever,” she continues, explaining what her “perfect mate” would be like.
Megan knows all about finding the perfect mate because she’s been with husband Brian Austin Green since they were both teens and they have a beautiful family together now (and 2 kids). Clearly, if anyone should offer advice on what to look for in a partner, it’s probably her.
As for her next film, if we’re to believe what fans are saying online, you should probably not get your hopes too high. “TMNT” is produced by Michael Bay, and from the trailers, it plays exactly like any other Michael Bay movie, with car chases, explosions and cheesy humor.
However, the thing that has offended fans of the original series the most is that the Turtles have human lips and noses now, which makes them look super freaky.
“TMNT” also stars William Fichtner and Will Arnett and will open in theaters worldwide this August. Expect more Megan Fox interviews and photospreads until then.
