Director Michael Bay will probably not like her interview

Megan Fox was fired from the “Transformers” franchise when she started badmouthing the films and especially director Michael Bay. He would later give her another chance in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” which he produced, telling the media that he’d forgiven her for comparing him to Hitler because she was too young to know better.

According to Megan herself, this also applied to her accepting the role in the first “Transformers” films, even though they helped her become the big star she is today.

“I had no idea what I was doing”

It’s been a while since Megan badmouthed her own work in film, thus biting the hand that fed her, but she’s doing it again in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. It’s true, she’s toned it down considerably, but she still hasn’t changed her message: the “Transformers” movies were bad and the only excuse she has for being in them is that she was too young to understand what she was doing.

Talk about being ungrateful for an opportunity that most actors can only dream of.

“In Transformers I was a kid, I had no idea what I was doing. There was nothing for me to do [in that movie], but then I did nothing and that was my own call,” she says.

Adds Fox, “I don't take it personally because in some ways I acknowledge and agree. But at the same time, both established comedians and Quentin Tarantino have come up to me and said, ‘I really liked Jennifer's Body, you were really good in that.’ The people whose opinions matter liked it, so I'm OK with that.”

Sure, she doesn’t say that the movies were bad in these exact words, but that’s what she’s getting at. Then again, it’s not like the entire world doesn’t know that what she’s saying is true, but that still doesn’t mean she should do it: they were her launching pad and she should at least not be negative about them in interviews.

Megan Fox is not dumb

After she was dumped from the “Transformers,” as unchallenging and uninteresting that role was, Megan was forced into an acting hiatus. She’d been getting plenty of bad press, so chances are that the decision to take a break was partly hers, but she’d also burned too many bridges by going up against the people who paid her bills.

She’s done only a handful of movies since, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” included - and this one too was as bad as the “Transformers” -, but in interviews, she’s been really struggling to convince the world that whatever first impression they got of her was wrong.

Megan is not dumb and she’s not uneducated, she says. Obviously, she hates it that people assume she’s both these things (and a liar too) just because she’s beautiful and hot, but perhaps acting in a more professional manner in interviews would help remove this false impression of her.
