Megan Fox Is Married

Almost two weeks ago, word got out in the tabloids that Megan Fox and on-and-off boyfriend Brian Austin Green had gotten engaged for the second time in their rather tumultuous relationship of about 6 years. Days after, the actress was saying the engagement was not news and that she’d been committed to Brian for years but it could very well be that this was just a means of diverting the media’s attention from her upcoming nuptials.

Megan and Brian got married in a secret ceremony a few days ago in Hawaii, E! Online informs. Despite insisting in countless interviews that she was not marriage material and would probably turn 30 or even 40 before tying the knot, it looks like Megan had made up her mind all along. In fact, only a few days before saying her “I Do,” the actress was telling the media that, though she was engaged, she and her fiancé had not yet started to make wedding plans.

“Apparently the second engagement was the charm. Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green got married June 24 in a hush-hush ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island, Green’s rep confirmed Monday. Details are nil, except that Green’s son with Vanessa Marcil, 8-year-old Kassius, was there to give his dad away,” E! writes of the happy news. Lack of details is accompanied by a lack of photos as well – and fans who know just how private Megan can be probably also know that chances of pics popping up soon are close to none.

“This is the first marriage for both Green, 36, and Fox, 24. TMZ was first with the scoop. The happy couple, who met in 2004, abandoned their first engagement in February 2009, but it proved to be a brief experiment, and they were going strong once again a few months later,” E! further says. Moreover, though she constantly maintained that she did not have what it took to become a wife, Megan has always been very close to her now-step son, a thing she was the first to admit to.

In February this year, for instance, the 23-year-old star was saying in an interview that, even if the world may think differently of her, she had really strong maternal instincts and was even then ready for motherhood. It looks like Megan got her wish, because she is now Kassius’ mom.
