Megan Fox is done with acting and she breaks the news to her fans in her new interview with Marie Claire magazine. The actress, who has been keeping a very low profile as of late, says acting is not her “job any more.”

Though there was a point when not a day went by without a Megan Fox story, things have changed considerably since she left (or was fired from, depending on who you believe) the “Transformers” franchise.

In the meantime, Megan got married, got pregnant and gave birth to her first child, and these experiences have changed her in such a way as to make her reconsider her career.

Granted, she doesn’t say directly that she’s retiring, but fans are reading that in between the lines – and feeling sad about it too.

“I’ve never been validated by work or fame or Hollywood or any of that. I recognize the blessings when they come – like, I recognize I’m so lucky to work with Judd [Apatow] – but the ultimate satisfaction for me is being with my son,” she says.

“I just want to give Noah as much of myself as I can. And I want to have more kids. That is where my heart is,” the stunning star adds.

While she always loved acting, starting her own family has made her realize that perhaps she was looking in the wrong place for utter and complete happiness.

“All I wanted to do my whole, whole life was have a baby and, now, I’ve finally done it… It’s very hard for me to do this stuff, because I feel like this isn’t my job any more. My job is to be with him,” Megan says.

That last part, with “this isn’t my job any more,” is sending fans into a frenzy of speculation and heartbreak.

Then again, there’s always the possibility that Megan was misquoted; she gets that a lot.
