These are the average headlines in glossy magazines and even on celebrity blogs and, quite frankly, the “Transformers” stunner is sick of the comparisons, as she says in a recent interview with Pop Tarts for Fox News.

The young actress has spoken before of how much it annoys her to be compared to someone with whom she basically has little in common, and, in the process, not be considered for her own worth. The media is taking some physical resemblances a bit too far, Fox believes, and it’s hurtful and annoying. She is her own person and would like to be seen as such, and not as some younger version of an actress who has already proved her worth.

Having many tattoos, jet black hair, a pair of luscious lips, a smoldering attitude, an open mind and close to no control as to what comes out of her mouth does not mean she’s Angelina, Megan tells the aforementioned source. “I think it’s ‘cause she has tattoos really, I think a lack of creativity on the media’s part. I am a brunette with tattoos, I curse. I joked about it which people find outrageous so they want to constantly compare that to her. You know Shia [LaBeouf] is the new Tom Hanks, Rihanna is the new Beyonce. Everybody is the new somebody although none of us are any of those people so you just walk around with it you live with it.” Fox explains.

As fans must know, this is not the first time that Fox bites back at talk of the resemblance between her and Jolie. Although she clearly admires Angelina and respects her work, the younger star is adamant that she be considered for what she does and not judged by the standards someone else already set before her. As it happens, Fox is not the only one to insist she and Jolie have almost nothing in common.

Jon Voight, Jolie’s estranged father, also fails to see the similarity past a few physical traits. “Megan is herself and Angelina is herself. No one is comparable; everyone in the world is unique. That’s the great thing about it, but of course they’re two very beautiful women.” Voight explained for the same media outlet a while back.
