The actress defends Michael Bay and his movies, but disses fans

It's safe to say that the new reboot for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” has elicited some strong opinions from fans who have seen their childhood heroes morphed into some unrecognizable version fit to take over the box office. Many fans have expressed their dissatisfaction. Fortunately for Michael Bay, Megan Fox is here to stand up for him.

Megan Fox and Michael Bay had their differences in the past, when shooting the first “Transformers” film. Back then Megan decided that she was an artist and thus unfit for a Michael Bay-produced film.

But now, when fans are lining up to take shots at Bay for basically destroying their childhood heroes and creating an unrecognizable version that bears similarity to the original only in name, Megan is the first to stand up and defend the director-producer.

Her message to detractors is simple and to the point, and it comes in the form of an F-Bomb. Cinema Blend quotes the actress, who has said during a press conference, “Let me tell you something about those people. How much money did Transformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain – they all go to the theater. They’re gonna love it – and if they don’t love it, they can [expletive] off, and that’s the end of that.”

Let's hope that the new mother doesn't kiss her children with that mouth. What is interesting is that Megan Fox herself attracted the fury of fans when she was first cast in the movie, which might explain why she's siding with Bay on this one and telling people off.

What should be noted here is the fact that Megan Fox basically told her fans, the very people she relies on for her existence and without whom her career as a pretty face on screen would be as successful as watching paint dry is, to go have intercourse with themselves.

It's interesting to see if this very explicit comment is going to have any impact on the movie's box office earnings. Has Megan crossed the line and turned fans against her, or will people mindlessly be headed for the movie theater for two hours of light entertainment and pretend that nothing happened?

Considering the big chance she took, Megan is probably banking on the latter being true, though she could come out rather ruffled from this entire incident.

In the end, the decision to go see the movie is yours, but know this: if you choose to pay for your movie ticket, you're basically empowering Megan Fox and also proving her point, that people will complain but still watch the movie in the end and thus earn her and the studio lots of money.
