Stunner Megan Fox is now the cover girl of the latest issue of Elle China magazine and, at the same time, of Marie Claire, with the latter also coming with an interview on which are her beauty secrets. Apparently, the star likes to live by the saying of less is always more.

Though she’s been accused of using too much Botox, fillers and tweaking her face to such an extent that she’s barely recognizable these days, Megan insists her good looks are all down to taking proper care of herself.

She tells Marie Claire she tries her best to be moderate about everything, from the amount of time she spends working out, to her diet and even her beauty regime and makeup use.

“My beauty philosophy is ‘less is more’, so my daily routine consists of washing my face thoroughly and moisturizing with La Roche-Posay sunscreen [Anthelios AC SPF30 High Protection Fluide Extreme, £15.50]. I drink lots of water and think it’s important to get lots of sleep,” Megan says of her beauty regime.

Femininity is not about covering yourself in layers and layers of makeup or wearing outrageous fashion; for Megan, being feminine is an attitude, the state when a woman is “in harmony with herself and remains true to her values.”

As such, she always tries to keep her makeup down to a minimum, even when she’s on set or promoting a film on the red carpet.

“I try to keep my make-up fresh, clean and pretty on the red carpet. My signature look is red lipstick worn with plain eyes, so I apply a light foundation, then on my cheeks I use blush or sometimes the same lipstick that I’m wearing,” she says.

“Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Lipstick in 400, £23, contrasts well with my pale complexion and dark hair,” she adds.

“Even when I’m working I don’t like wearing too much make-up, but when I’m on my own I go bare-faced as I like to give my skin a rest,” Megan underlines.

Fox is now the face of Armani Cosmetics.
