Kim Dotcom took to Twitter last week to announce that the synchronization client for Mega cloud storage service was exiting the beta stage of development and that Windows and iOS versions were on the way.

Today, an early build (0.22) for Microsoft’s platform was spotted in the cloud storage and can be downloaded; 50GB of secure storage is for free.

The application is very similar to other sync clients and offers the possibility to mirror the content available online with what is stored locally.

However, not all loose ends have been tied just yet, as during a simple test our online files were not downloaded to the assigned location, although the application showed ongoing synchronization. Alternatively, everything we placed in the local folder would be uploaded to our Mega account.

An official release for Android is already available and, with an app for iOS, the circle for covering all major platforms is almost complete.
