Capcom says that only PS3 and Vita versions will get extra content

The developers working on Street Fighter x Tekken at Capcom have announced that the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita versions of the game will include more exclusive characters, including Mega-Man, Cole from Infamous and Kuro and Toro, two Sony mascots.

The developers at Capcom stated that the Mega-Man appearance had been conceived, “In the spirit of crossover fun, the dev team wanted both Capcom and Namco’s mascots to join the fray in a slightly silly, goofy way.

“Pac-Man riding Mokujin is about as weird as it can get, so the best equivalent for Mega Man would have to be the so-bad-it’s-good-but-still-kinda-bad box art from Mega Man 1 in the US.”

The Xbox 360 version of Street Fighter x Tekken has no exclusive characters because Capcom has problems negotiating an appearance from someone like Master Chef with the intellectual property holders.

The fighting game will be launched during the first week of March on the two consoles and on the PC, and Namco Bandai is also working on a Tekken x Street Fighter cross-over.
