With much fanfare from Gonzo's trumpet, the Walt Disney Internet Group captured the essence of the UK's love affair with dance fever with the launch of Muppets Dance Party - an original and entertaining
take on the classic dance game genre - aimed at all the family, casual and frequent mobile phone gamers alike.

It's time to put on make-up, it's time to dress up right, it's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight!
Featuring all The Muppet favorites, including Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Animal and Fozzie, Muppets Dance Party sees the cast thrown off their own show and having to compete in dance auditions to get back on.

Across five unique environments, with unlockable levels, dynamic foregrounds and backgrounds, The Muppets are given dance performance ratings and detailed player feedback, as well a trademark insults from the disgruntled duo Statler and Waldorf, the original grumpy old men of The Muppet Show.

"Muppets Dance Party will exercise your gaming skills as well as put a smile on your face," commented Sunil Gunderia, vice president of mobile, the Walt Disney Internet Group Europe. "The timeless appeal of The Muppets and accessibility of the gameplay make Muppets Dance Party a great game for consumers seeking entertainment on the go. We're looking forward to seeing much more of Kermit and Miss Piggy over the coming months."
