Meet Salma Hayek's Baby Girl

Salma Hayek has introduced her baby daughter to the world. The actress has personally released an official portrait photograph of Valentina Paloma Pinault, who was born on September 20, and confessed she is enjoying being a parent. And just look at that baby - isn't she adorable? The only trouble is, I've already heard a series of complaints from friends and not only regarding that photo, but it's got nothing to do with the sweet baby or with Salma's radiant look. The fact is, in this particular photo, baby Valentina is totally obstructing her mommy's chi chis - thus denying us access to some pretty complex dilemmas connected to pregnancy and breast size.

"Motherhood is not for everyone" stated Salma, who is 41. "But it is for me". The 'Ugly Betty' producer has followed in the footsteps of several other stars, including Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes and Julia Roberts, by releasing an official picture of her new baby to avoid the paparazzi hype over securing the first picture.

Valentina is shown sitting on her mother's lap and already bears a striking resemblance to Mexican beauty Salma. I only hope that she ends up with mommy's looks and talent and daddy's flair for business, since her father is none other than the billionaire businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, who heads the Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent fashion empire, as well as the PPR luxury brand.

He and Salma are reportedly planning to get married next year - but I wouldn't hold my breath on this one if I were you. You see, Valentina may be Salma's first child, but the 45-year-old Francois-Henri seems to have been on a baby mission over the past few years, as persistent rumors are flying around singling him out as the father of supermodel Linda Evangelista's 13-month-old son Augustin, whose father has never publicly been revealed. Quite a busy bee he's been, right? Well, back to the baby - she looks absolutely adorable, and Salma definitely looks extremely proud of her.
